8th Pay Commission
Recently, the Central Government has announced the formation of the 8th Pay Commission. The Central Government constitutes the Pay Commission through a resolution proposal to revise the pay structure of its employees and determine pension payments. It is an administrative body.Under normal circumstances, the Central Government constitutes the Pay Commission every 10 years. Since 1947, seven Pay Commissions have been set up so far.
