Return To Duty
Return to Duty is a process that allows employees to resume work after violating workplace drug or alcohol policies. It typically begins with an evaluation by a qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), who determines whether the employee needs counseling, education, or treatment. After completing the recommended steps, the employee must pass a return-to-duty drug or alcohol test.
