Operation Midnight Hammer
On June 22, the US attacked Iranian nuclear installations, which has been named ‘Operation Midnight Hammer’.
In this operation, the US targeted three nuclear plants of Iran, Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. In this 25-minute operation, American B-2 bombers dropped GBU-57 ‘bunker buster’ ammunition on Iran’s nuclear plants. After that, 30 Tomahawk cruise missiles were fired from an American submarine.
For the first time, America has used the 15-tonne GBU-57 bunker buster bomb.
