Indore and Udaipur included in UNESCO’s Wetland City
Indore and Udaipur have been granted international recognition and status as Wetland City in UNESCO’s Ramsar Convention.
Indore and Udaipur have now joined the world’s 31 wetland cities.Indore is known for its excellent performance in the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’.The city has taken several initiatives to conserve and rehabilitate its water bodies.Udaipur, known as the city of lakes, has contributed significantly to the conservation of its lakes.
