India’s first Organic fisheries cluster

Union Minister Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh launched India’s first organic fisheries cluster in Sikkim. 50 major projects were inaugurated under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY).
The cost of these projects is Rs 50 crore. The project covers all the states of the Northeast region except Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram.
To enhance fisheries infrastructure and productivity. To create employment opportunities in the North Eastern states
