Full Functional Literacy in Ladakh
Recently Ladakh has been declared as the administrative unit to achieve full functional literacy.
Ladakh has achieved full functional literacy under ULLAAS-Nav Bharat Literacy Programme.
The ‘ULLAAS’ model is based on volunteerism, in which the volunteers register through the ‘ULLAAS’ mobile app and teach only non-literates without expecting any reward
The duration of this scheme is from the year 2022-2027.
