Bharat Brand Scheme

Recently, Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi launched the second phase of Bharat Brand Scheme. In this scheme, the government has tried to provide food grains and other essential commodities to the middle class at subsidized prices under the ‘Bharat Brand’ label. The first phase of this scheme was started in the year 2023.
