Aortopulmonary Window Treatment
An Aortopulmonary Window (APW) is a rare congenital heart defect where there is an abnormal connection between the aorta and the pulmonary artery, allowing blood to flow directly between them. This causes excessive blood flow to the lungs, leading to pulmonary hypertension and heart failure if left untreated.
